Filling notes,
the passages are folk.
The folk make the stories
that begin with grass and end with war!
The folk make our history
Our history, our history is torn!
The best we can do,
make light of history,
take pride in our legacy,
celebrate each brushstroke
of culture!
A nation is no more than genre,
a country no more than cuisine,
all is music, all hearts hunger,
and all folk be hopeful of imminent unity!
